Our Martha was named after Paul McCartney's famous Old English Sheepdog. In fact, that is why we decided to specifically get a sheepdog and the name Martha just fit. We have seen Paul McCartney in concert three times now, most recently when he came to Spokane. We splurged on front row seats and held up a sign with our Martha's picture that said "My sheepdog Martha says Hi." Our sign got a shoutout from Paul himself, so we often joked that our dog was famous now. Martha was so sweet and came to us at a time when we needed her most. She will always be the absolute best dog in the world.
