Trudi came into my life at just six weeks old, and from that day on, we were inseparable. I wasn't just her owner, I was her person, and she was my heart. She stood by me through some of the hardest moments of my life, including losing my dad, my stage 4 colon cancer diagnosis, and my mom's endometrial cancer diagnosis. She always seemed to know when I needed her most. She loved to snuggle, especially as the little spoon, and being close to me was her favorite place in the world. When I was away, she would wait for me, and the moment I came home, it was as if her whole world lit up again. I miss her more than words can express, and I will love her forever.
