My sweet Alvin was rescued by Forever Home Dog Rescue of Edmonds, WA from the same puppy mill as my dog, Daisy. After rehabilitating Daisy throughout the previous year, FHDR trusted and allowed me to welcome Alvin into my home in 2015 after Daisy and I lost her brother. From the moment they met, Daisy and Alvin were inseparable. And it was thanks to his his perma-dopey/happy nature that Daisy fully came out of her shell. He was just over a year old when he came to live with us, and we were lucky enough to have him for a little over 11 years. This is cheesy, but when I met him, I remember saying that I finally understood the Carly Rae Jepson lyric, "Before you came into my life, I missed you so bad," because he filled a piece of my heart that I didn't know was missing. He was the absolute sweetest baby I've ever met.
