Luna loved to snuggle under the blankets. She would tuck herself in if no one was around to cuddle with. She loved a good fort made out of blankets and pillows; a nice dark place to sleep all day. When we moved to a house with a fenced-in backyard, she didn't want to come back inside. She loved to chase bugs, sleep on the patio, and drink her outside water. She loved getting drip drops out of the bathroom sink.

She was the most special creature. She knew when I was sad or had a stomachache, and would come and lie with me. We would chat back and forth and play hide and seek... She stayed with me for 13 years, and I am so blessed to have known her. Her last day on earth was spent sitting in the garden with the chickens and lying in bed snoozing with mama.
