Pepper
In the summer of 1992, Pepper was abandoned to the streets with her
litter mate, Salty, finding shelter and loving care in our home for 15
years. Pepper was a quiet kitty, timid of strangers, but a real buddy to her
human family. She enjoyed outdoors, basking in the sun, eyeing squirrels and
birds - giving chase a time or two. I miss her gentle morning tap on the
cheek to say time for breakfast. Pepper was a lap kitty and joined me in
reading and taking naps. She developed health issues and left us in
September 2007 - gone to find Salty. I miss my special kitty.
