In Memory of Our Beloved...

Bella was a black lab mix that had a heart of gold. She was always happy, gentle and never mean. She was found as a stray, taken to a pound and was on death row when Pasado's Safe Haven rescued her and brought her to the farm. The picture of Bella with short hair is her first picture that was taken of her by Pasado's.
While at Pasado's she made many friends- 2 and 4 legged. She was a favorite of many! In Oct 05, we brought her home for a bladder surgery. We were just going to take care of her until she recovered and take her back to the farm after. Well, she never went back! We fell in love with her and she with us. We adopted her.
She was a bright spot in everyday. She made us laugh and smile with her happy hop when she'd bark and her gallop through our backyard.
Bella had Cushing's Disease. In the end, she had a tumor on her liver and had numerous medical procedures. She was always a cooperative patient,  the vets and staff at Redwood Animal Hospital all loved Bella.
We miss Bella every day but remember all the joy she brought to our lives. We feel so fortunate to have had her for the time that we did.
