  Jazmine Bell

Jazzy, as I liked calling her was my dear friend and constant companion..

She was a blue cream Himalayan and only five years old.

I have always loved cats (and dogs) and mourn each one as they have been called to the rainbow bridge. Having to let Jazmine go has broken my heart in a way I have never felt before.

Not only was she beautiful to look at she had the sweetest personality to go along with it. We came to have our nightly rituals of her coming over to get a belly rub before we drifted off to sleep. How she loved that and how I miss this contact with her.

It has been a little over two weeks since she left and all though I’m a bit better, the tears remain close to the surface. Perhaps it’s because it happen so suddenly or perhaps it is because she was only five years old. But mostly I think it is love. God’s greatest gift. There is no way to experience love at its finest without also experiencing the heartbreak of the void when its gone. No matter the pain I wouldn’t have missed it for anything.

I am grateful for each day we shared together and I believe someday we shall be together again.

So my precious little one I say good-bye for now, You will always be in my heart and on my mind…till at the bridge we meet.
